:: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. ::

We regret to inform everyone here, that CHMA 2009 has been cancelled.
This is the decision of the school management, whom have their H1N1 fears.
I am sure many of you disappointed and unhappy with the school management's decision, because we are too. However they still HAVE their own reasons, so we should still respect their decision.

:: ANNOUNCEMENT. ::

OK.
So the situation seems abit unclear even to us.
But from what we know, CHMA will most likely be postponed, or in the worst case scenario, cancelled. This is of course, due to the current H1N1 situation in Singapore, and i guess the govt's ruling on no mass gatherings in schools.
The tentative dates we are looking at will be the 1st of Aug, or the 15th of Aug.
HOWEVER, ticket booking will still be going on as per normal. We will NOT be collecting any money, nor open collection of booked tickets. This is to prevent mass confusion and chaos in the event CHMA is cancelled.
Moving on, even if CHMA is cancelled, there WILL still be alternatives for us to carry out. If it ever reaches such a situation, we will update everyone with our plans via the blog.
Please be understanding, as not only the iMedia crew and our teachers in charge but also the finalists are disappointed that CHMA will be affected by H1N1. The crew had been putting in hard work since the start of the year, while the finalists had been practising hard to piece together a stunning performance. Besides that, there is also nothing much we can do, as the school and the govt has the final say.

:: REVIEW! ::

Just a lil' reminder to all finalists.
There will be a review at the secondary school hall tomorrow.
These are your respective reporting times.
Dancers -> 4.30pm
Bands + Group Vocals -> 5pm
Solo Vocals -> 6pm
All bands and vocalists are expected to present 2 songs. One that you should almost 100% be performing on the final night. and one back-up.
Please come with the neccessary equipment.

:: LATEST UPDATES ON TICKET SALES + REVIEW ::

FOR THE WHOLE OF THIS WEEK, we will be only ALLOWING the booking of tickets.
Booked tickets can only be collected starting from next week.

Moving on, rock band and group vocal finalists are to report at the secondary school hall at 4.15pm tomorrow for a short review. Do remember to bring along your necessary equipment. Thanks.

:: REGARDING TICKET BOOKING ::

There will be a ticket booking system in place.
Booking of tickets will be allowed only till one week before CHMA. Which also means after the 17th of July, you are not allowed to book tickets. All booked tickets must be collected by 17th July.
You can book tickets at the ticket booths(at the porch after school) or with iMedia members going about the canteen selling tickets(during reccess).
Anybody with questions can tag on the tagboard and we will get back to you asap.

OK, so here are the details.
We will only be starting to sell tickets on Wednesday, not Tuesday.
Tickets will be on sale every Monday to Frida during reccess and after school, $10 per ticket.
Timings for after school ticket sales.
Monday 2.30pm-6.00pm
Tuesday 1.40pm-5.00pm
Wednesday 2.30pm-6.00pm
Thursday 1.40pm-5.00pm
Friday 1.40pm-6.00pm

So, gather all your friends, and buy the tickets!

Remember, the finale date is 25th of July!

:: TICKETS! + TWITTER! ::

Tickets will be on sale STARTING TUESDAY!

WE WILL BE SELLING TICKETS EVERYDAY DURING RECCESS AND AFTER SCHOOL.

The time of sale of tickets everyday after school will be announced on Sunday night, along with a specimen of the TICKET itself! TICKETS WILL BE PRICED @ $10, FREE SEATING.

ONLY 3 MORE WEEKS LEFT! Its gonna be 3 weeks filled with rehearsals, reviews and so on. We will post photos to show you guys what we are doing, and how its like during rehearsals and reviews on our official TWITTER PAGE every now and then.
